My biggest reservation with working with Jen, was what if I made this investment and it doesn’t work, like all the other times. However, I knew at the time, I had to make a change for myself and my family. If I wanted to teach my girls how to love their own bodies, I’d have to love my own first. I’m glad I took the leap and worked with her. I was able to find a “doable for me” routine that fit in everything I needed to. From water, steps to just moving my body more it was slow going at first, but once I saw results, I started to make more changes, like meal planning and sticking to it. My grocery bill has drastically been cut, because I now go into the store intentionally buying vrs buying with my emotions on that day/time. My biggest take away with working with Jen, is you can do it yourself, on your own.. but it’s so much easier having someone in your corner helping you make the right decisions and pumping you up week after week to keep the momentum going. It was a lot easier than relying on my own self to hold me accountable in the earliest months when it mattered to most to help me develop a healthy mindset and healthy habits. The biggest thing that I over come was actually reaching out for help. I’m always the one that helps, I’m always the one who has the solutions, this time I knew I needed help from someone else to give me solutions to the problem I created. There’s no doubt if I find myself in another rut, she’d be the first I’d reach out to. Thank you Jen for helping me feel comfortable with myself again and not feel like I’m just another body in a room.
