Get ready to tee off at the Pebble Beach Classic: Indoor Sim Series, hosted by the British Columbia Golf Association and Coach Shayain, happening January 26–30, 2025, at indoor golf locations across BC.
Play the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links on a simulator at the same time your favorite pros are competing in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am! Can you and your partner outscore the pros—and take home the top prize?
Compete in Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed categories, and join an inter-provincial showdown to see which city—Richmond, Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna, or Langley—will claim victory! Open to all ages and skill levels, this alternate-shot competition is your chance to bring the thrill of professional golf into a fun and interactive environment.

Two-Player Alternate Shot
👥 No handicap required! Make sure to select your category—Men’s, Women’s, or Mixed—when registering on Golf Genius.
Scoring, Tees & Putting
⛳ Scoring: Double Par (max of 8 strokes on a par 4)
🏌️♀️ Tees: Women (Red), Men & Mixed (White)
🤖 Putting: Auto Putt must be turned on to these settings.
*Inside 10 feet is 1 putt, 10-45 feet is 2 putts, over 45 feet is 3 putts

How it works:
Step 1: Choose Your Location and Time:
Select a participating location near you (Richmond, Vancouver, Langley, Victoria, Kelowna) and pick a tee time between Sunday, January 26th, and Thursday, January 30th, anytime during opening hours.
Step 2: Reserve Your Spot:
Registration to book your tee time opens January 12th, 2025. Tee times can be reserved two weeks before the event.
For most locations: Call your chosen location to secure your tee time.
For Anytime Sim Golf (Kelowna): Email them to receive instructions on booking your tee time.
Step 3: Complete Payment:
Both you and your partner must pay individually using this portal by January 23rd, 2025.
Step 4. Register for the Tournament:
Click here to register your team on Golf Genius. Only one person per team needs to register for both members.

Step 5: Download the Golf Genius App:
Available on Apple Store and Google Play.
Step 6: Receive Your GGID Code:
You’ll receive your GGID Code via email by January 24th, 2025, which will allow you to input scores in the Golf Genius App.
Step 7: Show Up and Play:
Arrive 5–10 minutes before your tee time, check in, and get ready to play. Play is at your own risk, so ensure you’ve stretched and warmed up!
Step 8: Submit Your Scores and Have Fun:
Play your round with 2 hours, input your scores in the app, and take a photo of your scorecard for upload.
Important Note:
The placeholder time (Sunday, Jan 26th at 9 AM) in Golf Genius is NOT your actual tee time. You’ll secure your tee time by contacting your chosen location starting January 12th, 2025.
The deadline to register and complete payment is January 23rd, 2025, by 5 PM.

1. 📝 Registration:
Ensure you have registered with BCGA and completed payment through the payment portal.
2. 🎥 Simulator Basics:
Watch this video from Birdie Golf Simulator to get a general idea of how simulators work. Each facility may use a different simulator, so visit your chosen location’s website for specific instructions on their equipment.
3. ⏰ Arrival:
Arrive 5–10 minutes before your tee time to check in and prepare.
4. 🅿️ Parking:
Parking availability may differ depending on the location. Contact your chosen simulator facility for parking information.
5. 🏌️♂️ Borrowing Clubs:
If you need to borrow golf clubs, inform the facility in advance when booking your reservation. Please note that a fee may apply.
6. 🍔 Food and Beverages:
Food and drink options vary by location. While some facilities offer snacks and adult beverages on-site, others may allow you to bring your own. All locations are happy to accommodate food delivery services like Uber Eats. Please ask your facility in advance about their policies and follow the rules.

📝 Do I have to sign up with BCGA and on this portal?
Yes! Complete your payment on this portal. Signing up on BCGA’s portal registers you in Golf Genius, allowing you to access the leaderboard and stay updated throughout the event.

🏌️♀️ Do I need prior golf experience?
Not at all! This event is designed for golfers of all skill levels. Just have fun and aim to finish your round within two hours.
👥 What is alternate shot format?
You and your partner will alternate shots throughout the round, making teamwork the key to success.
📱 How do I keep score?
Download the Golf Genius App (it’s free!) and input your scores after each hole. You’ll receive a unique GGID code via email before January 26th to access the leaderboard.
🏌️ What happens if I don’t have golf clubs?
If you need to borrow clubs, let your chosen facility know when booking your reservation. A fee may apply.
💵 Can I get a refund or exchange if I can’t attend?
Unfortunately, there are no refunds, credits, or exchanges available for this event. Please confirm your availability before registering.
✅ Is the event safe?
All participants play at their own risk. Please ensure you’ve warmed up and stretched before your tee time to minimize the chance of injury.
