Mythbusting American History Micro-Inquiry Collection
Each of the four Micro-Inquiries in this FREE collection is designed to help your students break out of conventions and challenge prevailing myths of American History.
They are suitable for students in 8th - 12th grade, and can be adapted for use for younger students.
In this collection students will tackle the complicated legacy of George Washington and his views on slavery, whether Hamilton deserves the reputation given him by Lin Manuel Miranda's Hamilton, whether the progress of the LGBTQ+ movement was inevitable, and the role of the ADA in the disability rights movement past and present.
