Important Information Regarding the Subscription Service

This service is a monthly online Japanese language lesson service provided by an individual instructor.

Please read the following Terms of Service carefully and agree to them before registering for the service.

1. Payment

Your initial payment will be processed on the date you subscribe.

From the following month onward, you will be automatically charged on the same date each month.

Due to system processing, the exact billing time may vary by approximately 24 hours.

Example:

If you subscribe on May 10:

Initial payment date: May 10

Next payment date: June 10

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription list in your account.

However, due to the nature of the service, no refunds or prorated refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Once the cancellation process has been completed, your subscription service will end immediately, and you will no longer have access to members-only content.

Because billing dates may be affected by weekends or public holidays, we recommend completing the cancellation process several days in advance to avoid unintended charges.

3. Lesson Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time, the lesson will not be counted as a used lesson.

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled start time will be counted as one used lesson.

However, in cases of illness or other unavoidable circumstances, a make-up lesson may be provided up to once per month at the instructor’s discretion.

Please note: No make-up lesson will be provided in the case of an unexcused absence.

4. Make-up Lessons, Lesson Validity, and Booking Deadline

Regular lessons and make-up lessons are valid only during the applicable billing period, from the subscription renewal date through the day before the next renewal date. Unused lessons cannot be carried over to the following month or any subsequent billing period.

For plans that provide a fixed number of lessons per month, you must complete the booking of all lessons included in your plan before your next subscription renewal date.

For example, if you are subscribed to a four-lesson-per-month plan, you must book all four lessons before your next renewal date.

Any lessons that have not been booked by the renewal date will expire and cannot be carried over to the following month, rescheduled, or refunded.

Once a lesson has been booked, the cancellation and rescheduling rules set forth in Section 3, “Lesson Cancellation and Rescheduling,” will apply.

Make-up lessons must also, in principle, be taken within the applicable billing period.

Please note: Make-up or rescheduled lessons may be difficult to arrange at the end of the month. We recommend booking your lessons well in advance.

5. Cancellation by the Instructor

If a lesson is canceled due to circumstances on the instructor’s side, the lesson will not be counted as a used lesson, and a make-up lesson will be provided.

6. No-Show

If you fail to attend a lesson without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show and counted as one used lesson.

No make-up lesson or refund will be provided in the case of a no-show.

7. Late Arrival

If the student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the lesson will not be extended.

If the student does not join the lesson within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the lesson will be considered used.

If the instructor is late, the lesson time will either be extended or the lesson will be rescheduled.

8. Changes to Your Plan

If you wish to change your plan, including the number of lessons, please contact the instructor at least one month before the month in which you wish the change to take effect.

Requests submitted after this deadline will take effect from the following month.

9. Termination of Service

The instructor reserves the right to terminate a subscription without prior notice in the following circumstances:

* Actions that interfere with the operation of the service

* Harassment, disruptive behavior, or other inappropriate conduct

* Discontinuation or suspension of the service

* Other unavoidable circumstances that make it difficult or impossible to continue providing the service

10. Changes to Subscription Fees

Please note that subscription fees may be changed in the future as the service evolves.

If there is a change in the subscription fee, subscribers will be notified in advance before the new fee takes effect. The revised fee will apply from the next billing cycle, and any fees already paid will not be affected.

11. Agreement

By completing the subscription process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above Terms of Service.
