February 4 | Acknowledging My (Buying) Power
How relevant are we in a complex capitalistic system? During this session we will seek to understand how much power the average American consumer has and view historical examples of how people organized through the marketplace to transform business practices.
February 11 | Discerning My (Buying) Values
You've probably spent time discerning your values and beliefs before, but have you done so when it comes to your consumer habits? During this session we take time to discern the values we hold when it comes to money, spending, and the marketplace.
February 18 | Reflecting On My (Buying) Habits
Once we understand the values we bring to the marketplace, we take time to reflect on our buying habits. We will use this session to help you find alignment (and misalignment) in what your hold to be true and how you show up in the marketplace.
February 25 | Reclaiming My (Buying) Power
We've done the work, but how do we implement it? During our final session together you'll map out a way forward that is realistic and achievable as you seek to use your buying power for good.
Meet Your Instructor
Hi there! I'm Rayce - a Certified Financial Education Instructor and the Founder of Reverend Money. I bring over five years of experience working with faith leaders, nonprofit professionals, and seminarians around their relationship with money. My approach moves us beyond financial literacy to cultivating a desired financial way of being in this world. I am excited about this class and hope you'll consider joining me! How do I register?
You can register by clicking the "Register Now" button at the bottom of your screen. The $25 registration fee will be due during the registration process.
Is there any prework or homework for this program?
The program is designed to not require any homework or prework. However, many participants may continue to work on aspects of the program's curriculum outside of our time together.
Will the sessions be recorded?
Each session is broken down into two components. The first component is education and lead by Rayce. This part of the session will be recorded. The second part of the session is experimental and conversational. To protect the stories of participants, this part of the session will not be recorded.
What if I miss a session?
If you are unable to attend a session, you'll receive the educational component recording (see above). At this time, Rayce is not able to meet with participants outside of the allotted time. Therefore, we encourage you to attend all four sessions to receive the full benefit of the program.
Is this course refundable?
We can refund the registration fee up to 48 hours in advance of the first class session. After this - the registration fee is non-refundable.
