AQA A Level Psychology Statistical Tests Revision Guide

Hello, I am an experienced Psychologist, Teacher and Examiner offering private and group online A Level Psychology tuition for AQA. I have a degree in Psychology and have taught the subject at GCSE and A Level for 18 years, I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), am fully DBS checked and insured to work online or in person. I have also worked as an examiner for AQA for the past 15 years on paper 1 and 3 as well as at GCSE level. One of the hardest aspects of the AQA exam is not always the content but also HOW to answer questions so I use my Examining knowledge and experience to also focus on this in the sessions.

I have used my years of knowledge and expertise to put together this comprehensive guide to Statistical Testing and Research methods which many students struggle with since the coursework was removed from the specification. Research methods appears in every paper making up 50% of Paper 2 and a huge 25% of students overall grade! Therefore this will be hugely beneficial to any student who is revising for their Psychology exam in the Summer!

I have taught in a number institutions including comprehensive schools, independent colleges and grammar schools. This has given me experience working with students from all backgrounds and levels of ability. I incorporate a variety of different techniques into my sessions, such as past paper questions, content tests, planning, recall and marking exercises, to name but a few, so they can be tailored to the learning styles of the tutees.

These are more affordable than individual tuition sessions and I limit my group sizes to 4 per group so students still receive individual support and attention.
