Your Survival & Positioning Guide
...for the first 90 days on campus
Your first 90 days starts when you arrive on campus—whether that's Summer Bridge or Fall Move-In.
DECLASSIFIED. TRANSLATED.
Getting in is one thing. Knowing what to do next is another.
I teach students how to navigate university expectations, how to understand their duties, and how to read the system so they are not caught by surprise at any point.
In this workshop, parents (and other responsible adults) learn their own legal limitations and how to best support their college-going student.
This is proactive programming and success mapping. I explain what they don't before you get on your campus. I teach you how to read the system before the system reads you.
All workshop participants will receive the How to Reach Hillman® Academic Pathways Tracker to aid them in understanding their general education curriculum, major and minor course requirements.
PLAN FOR SUCCESS BEFORE YOU FIND YOURSELF ON THE PATHWAY TO FAILURE.

I'm Tiffany and I'm a College Advisor for the people.
I know what I'm talking about because:
-
I've lived it (Double HBCU Alumna & Current HBCU PhD Student)
-
I work it as a Higher Education Practitioner who has only worked at HBCUs (Admissions, Student Engagement & Campus Life, Athletics, Dual Enrollment/Dual Credit, Academic Advising, and Adjunct Professor in Political Science)
-
I research it as current fully funded, super full-time PhD student in the Education/Higher Education program
And all I want is for my people to know what they're doing when they get where they're going.
