Why They Lose It (& Why You Do Too):
Nervous System Insights for Parents
3 Part Virtual Mini-Series
This mini-series is designed to help you understand what happens internally for both you and your children when big emotions rise up. In a judgement-free small group, we will harness our knowledge of the nervous system to lead with more safety, calm, and connection. Your children will pick up on the energy you bring into the room and over time, your family will begin to experience big emotions with more confidence, connection, and ease.
You are capable of changing the way you show up to your child's tantrums and finding safety in any emotional storm.
We will meet on Mondays from 8:00-9:00 PM (EST) starting on December 1st, 2025

How It Works:
Before We Get Started
If you haven't already attended the free "Nervous System Insights for Parents" class, be sure to watch the video you get access to when you purchase the mini-series. This will give you all the nervous system information you need to know before we dive in!
Week 1: Your Nervous System
Week 1 will be all about YOU! You'll learn how to start becoming more proactive in regulating your own nervous system. We'll get creative about tools for self-regulating and how to realistically apply them while trying to keep tiny humans alive!
Week 2: Your Child's Nervous System
In week 2, we will focus on your child's nervous system. We will tune in to their triggers and signals and make plans for how co-regulation can happen.
Week 3: Putting It All Together
In Week 3, we'll tie it all together and I'll coach you through your biggest tantrum challenges to find actionable solutions.
What's Possible When We Approach Big Emotions Through A Nervous System Lens?
For you, as the parent:
-
You feel confident that you can handle this!
-
Breathing & heart rate remains normal
-
Muscles feel relaxed
-
No strong urge to yell or react physically
-
Knowing that your emotions and your child’s are safe
-
You are able to set & maintain boundaries while making space for your child’s emotions
-
You can think clearly and assess the situation- identifying which nervous system state your child is in & what may be most supportive for them
-
You will learn to better attune to your child; dipping your toe in their emotions without drowning
-
You will become better at noticing when you or your child are beginning to become dysregulated and proactively use strategies to bring you back to safety before reaching a full stress response state.
Your child may:
-
Have fewer & less intense tantrums/shutdowns
-
Increase their capacity to feel emotions of varying intensity without becoming dysregulated
-
Become more receptive to the tools you employ to support them back into safety
-
Start to use self-regulating tools without being prompted
-
Learn that all emotions are safe
-
Be able to express their emotions in appropriate ways
-
Know that you are a safe person to come to with anything they may be feeling
*These changes will happen slowly, over time with many repetitions. You may notice regressions particularly during growth spurts, when they are not sleeping well, or when there are any big life changes. If no progress is made or dysregulation worsens, consider speaking to your child’s pediatrician.
