I wanted to do this program to lose weigh, gain strength, and change my body what I didn't know was going to happen was the huge mental shift for the better that I was going to get. I was struggling with workouts and staying on track, I was looking for someone to keep me accountable. When my boyfriend suggested this program I thought yes, this is what I need to reach my fitness goals. Yes, I got amazing workouts, a great healthy meal plan, lost weight, but what I gained the most from this program was mental shift. I use to say the works "try", can't", "but" or say "I'm sorry" for everything. I would always let the negative thoughts win and they would come to my mind so fast. I am so much more aware of those thought and how to overcome them. I start my day with positive self talk to set the tone for the day. When I have an off day, I know how not to take it personally or let it completely effect my day. I journal my thoughts and feels, have so much more gratitude, and can see the positive in all situations. I gained the knowledge to know that I don't need to spend hours at the gym to get an awesome workout out, and that it's not about how long i'm there or how many calories you burn, it's about consistency and showing up. Getting 1% better each day and every time you choose yourself, show up, don't hit the snooze button, drink the water instead of a soda, eat on track instead of going out to eat, you are bettering yourself. I gained so much more from this program than I ever expected. I learned things about myself I didn't know and everything I learned will help me keep showing up for myself and becoming my ideal self. This journey is so much more than looks, a number on the scale, your pants size, or how many calories you burn. You need to get your mind in the right space and once that happens it all comes together and you become unstoppable! This is the program that can help you become your best self.
