Sometimes, you need a little help. Even with all of my learning, credentials and certificates, I can still get stuck in the weeds of my own shite. And as I have said before, this year so far has been kicking my butt in both expected and unexpected ways. As a healer, one would think I have all the tools and resources to help myself. And I do. But, sometimes they are not enough; sometimes I am in too deep to be objective. So this is a shoutout to a great friend and mentor Lorree Appleby and her Radical Healing to Be Real & Love Life online program. I have carried my own personal wounds for a lifetime (maybe many lifetimes), and while I thought I had a handle on them and have been doing the work, it wasnt until I willingly and fully immersed myself into both internal amd external forgiveness work that I realized so much that I was carrying was internalized. How much of the past I was carrying and allowing to control me, both consciously and subconsciously. Going through the program and honestly doing the work allowed me to reach another level of self healing - and I have seen the changes both personally and the ripple effect it is having in my life. If you are stuck forgiving yourself, your past, someone or something else, I urge you to connect with Lorree for some deep, deep, conscious healing and forgiveness. We are not in this life alone, and while I know that we are each responsible for our own healing, asking for help is not a weakness but a strength. It is time to let go of the pain we have been carry so we can live the life we are meant to live. There is no quick fix. That is what we call bypassing. Willingly taking part in your own healing is not easy, and neither is true forgiveness - but if you commit to doing the work for yourself, you will begin to see what is possible on the other side of the pain you have been carrying over amd over for so long.
