I’ve learned So much valuable information and have clear understanding about how to communicate with hard of hearing individuals. This is something the Black community has been missing and needs. I’m so grateful this exists!

This ebook was educational and insightful. I really helped me understand and served as a reminder, that hard of hearing individuals have to work twice as hard to engage in daily verbal communication. It's important to recognize and accommodate individuals with a disability. My brother is deaf in one ear and he has to constantly turn his good ear to me and remind me to stand next to the side of his good ear. He also learned to read lips well at a young age. This was a great read and I recommend it to others.

This ebook has truly spoken to ne in way i didnt thinknit would. Chapter 2 nd 3 was screaming at me because I went thru some if not most of those factors nd symptoms....four was good and I could relate to some of the strategies cause I've done most of them myself...as I was reading I realized I'm not HOH and I do those things, so I can only imagine how hard it is for the ones who are HOH. You did an excellent job👏🏽
