I am a student of Alba’s and have been taking private lessons with her online for about 4 months. She has taught me so much in that time span. My online coaching with Alba is outstanding, I feel every week that I am challenged. Additionally, I get time also to review and recap on previous moves. She is very understanding and is able to support with any skating issues, for example, I kept getting my edges incorrect and she was able to film it and then correct me for further study in this area. I like how she uses every minute of the coaching session to get you to fully muscle memory a skill, drilling it and perfecting it and running over some technical details with you every step of the way! It is very good value for money as she really studies your progress and pushes you to develop further and be braver. Her teaching style is extremely detailed so it really helped me navigate my strengths and my weaknesses as a skater. She is also very understanding and caring as a coach. Recently, my mum has gone into hospital and I had to pause my weekly lessons for a few weeks, Alba was truly understanding and reached out to me, showing the greatest empathy and care for her skate student. This really emphasises that she values all of her students dearly and it is a lovely quality to see in a skate coach. Alba is passionate about what she does and is super professional but she can also let me know when I am loosing focus or having a wobble. I respect her honesty and straight talking as a skate coach as it raises your own accountability as a skater. I have developed really well under her guidance. She shows humility and kindness at all times and her skate skills are out of this world! Her spinner work is incredible and she makes you feel so inspired during her lessons! I highly recommend booking yourself some lessons with her, to really enhance your skate moves!

This is an amazing retreat, I learned so many new skills on skates. Alba really pushes you out of your comfort zone whilst also teaching a range of skaters from beginners to intermediate and higher level. She works with each skater in a group lesson but takes so much time individually over the course of the week to support and enhance each persons skill set. The trips and meals were wonderful. Alba took us to some secret picturesque spots in Ibiza. I thought I knew the island well after many holidays there but Alba planned hikes, beach days that were in the most beautiful places and away from the usual tourist hot spots. This ensured we really felt the benefit of the white isles natural power and zen vibes. Alba is a great cook, the meals were packed full of goodness and taste, the accommodation was perfect and the pool at the villa was a great way to unwind after a day of skating! If you wanted some snacks Alba was very accommodating driving us to the local supermarket for some extra treats! But there was plenty of food at the villa too. Danielle’s workshops and vibrant personality brought a nurturing element to the retreat, her positive ‘can do’ attitude ensured everyone felt seen and had the opportunity to improve. You could ask questions, go over moves as and when you liked as well! The outstanding skate coaching was of an extremely high nature, technical details and spinner work, blew my mind and really helped me look like a total, professional, Roller Queen by the end of the retreat. The companionship of the retreat was lovely and meeting a wide variety of skaters from all over the world was an added bonus! The activities planned really bonded us all together and we made life long friends as a result of booking this retreat. I loved how Alba was flexiable in scheduling too when we all wanted a night out for Ibiza fun too! The care and consideration Alba shared with everyone at the retreat made it feel like home and as a skater you felt valued and inspired every day! I would highly recommend this retreat to fill your cup with amazing roller girl energy, for building beautiful friendships and for improving your skate skills! I loved it so much I booked again this year! 💜💜
