Exhausted, overwhelmed and feeling like your body has changed overnight? You’re not broken — you’re in perimenopause. And this stage isn’t something to simply survive. It is one of the most pivotal transitions of your life — a window of opportunity to emerge healthier, stronger and more vibrant than before.
I know what it feels like when your body feels like it is working against you — because I have lived it.
In 2012, as a mother of three young children, I was going through my own depression journey, battling chronic eczema that left my skin raw, bleeding and my anxiety through the roof. I was exhausted, overwhelmed and desperately trying to hold everything together. I had tried steroids, IV treatments and light therapy — but every visit to the doctor ended the same way. Another prescription. Another cream. Nobody ever asked why this was happening. Nobody looked at the whole picture.
So I went looking for answers myself.
That search led me to a certification in Nutrition — and it changed everything. I discovered the profound connection between food, the body and health. How what we eat, how we sleep, how we manage stress can either fuel inflammation or calm it. How the body is not working against us — it is communicating with us. That realisation transformed not just my own health, but the health of my entire family.
It also set me on a path I have never looked back from.
I have since deepened my knowledge in Holistic Health and Wellness, specialising in midlife hormonal health for Muslim women. I have also navigated significant vision challenges for over 13 years — so when I sit with a client who feels unheard, unseen and frustrated by a system that only manages symptoms, I understand that from the inside out.
Here is what I know to be true: a body heals when it feels safe — not when it is stuck in survival mode. When we are constantly running on stress and exhaustion, our hormones, gut and nervous system cannot function as they should. My role is to help you move out of that state — gently, sustainably and in a way that honours who you are.
As a Nutritional Therapist, I blend evidence-based nutrition science with Qur’anic wisdom and Prophetic medicine — because your deen and your health are not separate. They were never meant to be. Nutrition is not one-size-fits-all. I work with you as an individual — your body, your symptoms, your lifestyle, your faith — building a personalised foundation that is realistic, not overwhelming.
Nobody should have to suffer in silence. You deserve to be truly heard, deeply understood and properly supported — not just managed.
Your body is not failing you. It is asking for a different kind of care.
