  • About me

    Kostas Sotos is a European Rock Guitar Player, Session Musician, and Guitar Tutor.

    For more than a decade he has been recording and touring around the world with his band Crystal Tears as well as a Session Rock Guitar player for several music acts. Although he is mainly known as a Heavy Metal Guitar player, Kostas loves to work in various music genres from classical music to chill out tunes and from commercial pop to extreme metal projects.

    He has recorded several albums with Crystal Tears, toured in Europe and Asia, and also performed several shows in Europe with metallers Mystic Prophecy. In 2017 and 2019 he performed shows with Alice Cooper's guitar player Ryan Roxie (who also recorded as a guest musician to CT latest album), and took part in many different music projects as a session guitarist for studio guitarwork , as well as for live shows. Kostas Sotos has collaborated and shared the stage with artists such as GusG. (as a guest with CT on tour), Mystic Prophecy & R.D.Liapakis, John Jeff Touch, Frank Pane, Guitarist of german Hard Rock legends 'Bonfire' and many others.

    As for the teaching career, from 2000 to now he never stopped teaching Electric & Acoustic Guitar , as well as Music Theory in private sector, sharing knowledge and guitar skills with people aged from 6 up to 60+ years old. Kostas often partners with Music Schools for kids as a musical mentor and teacher. Teaching experience includes Private Sessions, One-on-One Lessons, Classroon Teaching, Group Lessons, Seminars and of course Online Teaching.
