Mind That Seeks Truth Mehran Dadbeh

BreakUps, Intrusive Thoughts & You (OCD & Subsets of OCD i.e. HOCD)

  • ABOUT ME

    Mehran Dadbeh

Mehran sees life as a field of play and understands that not everyone in that field plays fairly. To understand why not all of us play with same sense of fairness, we need to focus on what commands our behavior and how our thoughts are born. Throughout Mehran’s life, he has always been interested in the well being of others, and since childhood he has been interested in untangling issues with patience, helping to find which issue was the cause of misunderstanding or created division between people, families, and even strangers.

Mehran grew up in a family led by his highly educated father, who had completed his education with a phD in law, and a highly dedicated, strong-willed mother, who made special efforts to create a disciplined and well-mannered family. His love for horses and nature helped him to enjoy a connection with what he considers “the essence of the universe.” His training in martial arts and the power of the mind and its connection to the energy flow of the universe made it easy for him to search for an increased understanding of what makes us tick. Mehran has learned that we are not bound by our physical appearance and we are not just a physical entity, but a combination of mind and body, matter and energy. Only when the mind and body are coordinated and move as one do we manifest our total powers to move forward and enjoy learning and better sailing in this journey of life.

Mehran’s love for peace and tranquility and understanding the relationship between the mind and body and between our energy (Ki) and the energy of the universe has been his main focus in all he has faced and all he accomplished in life. His studies with mind and body coordination in Aikido started at Lewis & Clark College, where he received his B.A. in business administration in 1977-78. He believes his biggest achievement in life is his relationship with his son.
He hopes that kindness and compassion will replace anger and hate in the world, resulting in a place worthy of human beings, who in turn have the potential to create a world worthy of traveling through and learning about while we continue this journey of

life. Mehran hopes to help others as much as he can, as he believes most of our problems start and end in our minds. This has always been his motivation to learn more and share what he has learned every chance he gets.
