I met Yasmine through a friend (who is also a boxing trainer) when I wanted to make some changes with my nutritional goals. And she was definitely the right person to do that.
I have been training for 1 year doing boxing fitness and strength training. I was going 3-4 times a week and in the beginning , I saw great changes. However, after a while, I reached a plateau - not really seeing many changes with my weight and strength increase. I realised that I needed to change my nutritional habits. I read many books to get a better sense of what I needed to do, and I learned a lot about counting proteins, fats and carbohydrates for every meal, based on my BMR. However, being busy with work and family life, I couldn't do a meal plan on my own. This is where Yasmine came into the pictured.
We had an initial call and I gave her my background and my goals. She asked direct questions, but listened attentively to me as well. She wanted to get a better sense of what level of knowledge I had, but also where I wanted to be in the near future, both for my health and for my physical self.
After the call, I sent her all the information she needed, including body measurements and BMR. I chose to do the 7 day meal plan, and thus, we embarked on the journey.
She sent me the meal plan, and it was based on foods that I liked and was used to cooking already so it could be efficient. It was easy to follow and very nice recipes. She was very communicative with me seeing how I was doing, and after every week, we would touch base to see how I was feeling and to see my measurements. I continued this for 4 weeks.
After the 4 weeks of meal plans, I felt a big difference in myself, but also I could see a big difference as well. I was more slim and stronger as well. The meal plans made a huge difference to my progress.
We still keep in touch with Yasmine and she still checks up on me. She is very professional and very knowledgeable about this topic.
