Klarna and Affirm Payment Plans on Pensight

By subscribing to Pensight Pro, you gain access to Klarna and Affirm payment options for your products. Klarna and Affirm allow your clients to pay in installments at checkout, while you receive the full payment in advance! This helps to increase your product affordability and grows your sales.

Conditions for Enabling Klarna and Affirm

To enable Klarna and Affirm on your products, ensure the following:

1. Active subscription: You must have an active Pensight Pro subscription.
2. Stripe Express setup: Your Stripe Express account for Pensight must be set up and Active. You can set up Stripe in the Wallet page, and check the status of your account by clicking Stripe Dashboard there.
3. Currency match: The currency of your Pensight product must match the currency of your Pensight Stripe account.
4. You are based in one of the supported countries:
   • Klarna: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.‍
   • Affirm: Canada, United States.

1. Pricing restrictions: Klarna and Affirm are not available if you are using Pensight Subscription or Pensight Payment Plan pricing.

Your clients will only see Affirm/Klarna payment option if they are in the same country as you, if you are in Australia, Canada, New Zealand or the United States. If you are based in EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Klarna will be available for clients based in Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

Verifying Klarna and Affirm Activation

To verify that Klarna and Affirm are active on your products, ensure the points above are set, then go to any product settings and click Manage under Payment Methods:

Klarna and Affirm Payment Fees

The transaction fee for using Klarna and Affirm is 6% instead of the usual Stripe's 3%. 6% includes all the fees.

Comparison with Pensight Payment Plans

• Pensight Payment Plans offer flexible payment plans globally without limitations geographical limitations, but you receive payments with each installment, not in advance. Although the Stripe transaction fee is lower at 3%.
• Klarna and Affirm provide advance payment for you in full but are limited to certain currencies and countries, with a higher total transaction fee of 6%.

Removing Klarna and Affirm

Klarna and Affirm payment options are enabled by default with your Pensight Pro subscription. To remove these options, go to any product settings, click Manage by the Payment Methods, and then click Disable.
